5th December 2025

The Santa Dash is back in town this weekend. Here’s everything you need to know to get ready for the big day!

General Information

  • The dash starts and finishes at Glasgow Green (Greendyke St, Saltmarket, Glasgow G1 5DB).
  • We welcome you to join us by 9.30am to get into the festive spirit and take part in the fun Zumba warm up to be ready to dash at 10am.
  • Please note that photography will be taken on the day and may be used in future marketing materials, if you wish not to be captured do let us know – we need to know your race numbers in advance, please
  • Please bring weather appropriate clothing and footwear, we want you to enjoy the day as much as possible. If you have taken part in previous years, you will know how cold it can get!
  • Don't forget your race number! This will give you access to your wave - please remember we cannot supply race numbers, t-shirts, or safety pins on the day!
  • We have waves to reduce congestion at the beginning of the run, and to keep everyone safe. Although this is a fun run for some, it is a race for others so please stick to your wave and be mindful of other runners.
  • Please bring your own water bottle on the day as we can’t supply bottled water. Keep an eye out for our hydration station at the end of the run.
  • Be sure to explore Glasgow’s Winter Wonderland on the Green, which will be open when you finish your day and throughout the day, with plenty of festive food and drink options as well as fairground rides, ice rink, panto, and entertainment for all ages.
