This year marks the second time the charity has delivered the event independently, and the response from the public has been exceptional. Held on Sunday, 7th December at Glasgow Green, the 2025 Santa Dash welcomed over 4,100 participants who brought colour, energy and festive cheer to the city while raising funds to support patients and families across the region.

Hosted by broadcaster Bryan Burnett, the event was proudly supported by sponsor GAP Group Hire Solutions.

Santa officially launched the Dash and joined Beatson Cancer Charity’s mascot, Bella Beatson, for photos with families and supporters throughout the morning.

Funds raised will support the charity’s essential work, including wellbeing services, specialist support for patients and families, and continued progress in research and innovation.

Maisie McCormick, Community Fundraising Manager at Beatson Cancer Charity, said:

“We are incredibly proud of what Glasgow Santa Dash 2025 has achieved. Seeing Glasgow Green transformed by more than 4,100 Santas spreading festive cheer was truly special, and raising over £100,000 is an extraordinary result. The energy on the day was unbelievable, and we are deeply grateful to every participant and to GAP Group Hire Solutions for making this year’s event possible. We would also like to extend a big thank you to Glasgow City Council for their continued support.”
