Can you help us continue to provide our wellbeing services to those facing cancer?

Can you help us continue to provide our wellbeing services to those facing cancer?

Your support could allow us to expand our range of services that help to ease the worry and discomfort that patients experience.

Our Wellbeing Centre is located on the 4th floor of The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and offers a range of treatments from complementary therapies to wig-fitting. Did you know that we also operate these crucial services from 8 satellite locations across the west of Scotland?

By donating what you can today, you could allow us to continue to provide comfort to many more people local to you.

Kerryn Steel from Bellshill was just 31 when she was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in October 2022. Shortly afterwards Kerryn started a 10-day radiotherapy treatment plan at the Lanarkshire Beatson. She was introduced to our Wellbeing Services at the Lanarkshire Beatson and was quickly booked in for a complementary therapy.

When I was in getting my nails done, we didn’t really speak about the treatment or cancer, so it was nice to have a chat with someone that wasn’t all centred around cancer. I had to take my nail polish off for surgery and I never got around to getting them done so it was nice to get them done again.

We are delighted that our services are now up and running and our incredible team of complimentary therapists, wig specialists and beauty therapists are on hand to provide support and comfort to those local and beyond. There are so many patients who may never visit our Wellbeing Centre as many receive treatment at their local hospital or health centre. We simply could not provide any of our services without your donations.

£25 could provide an hour of relaxing massage, helping people cope with stress and anxiety during cancer treatments.
