Some of the UK’s biggest sports personalities continue to sign up to support Beatson Cancer Charity’s latest fundraising efforts with virtual fan exclusive Q&A sessions.
Beatson Banter gives sporting fans the priceless opportunity to pose questions to sporting legends and bid for some exclusive memorabilia.
Scottish Rugby star Andy Nicol kicks off the three online events before passing the baton to The Jarrow Arrow, Steve Cram CBE and then it’s a double header with Old Firm footballing legends John Hartson and Mark Hateley (below).
Each Beatson Banter session is one hour at £10 each ticket or book your tickets before 25th February and enjoy all 3 sessions for the reduced price of £25.
Now, more than ever, Beatson Cancer charity needs your help. Fundraising efforts are strained, and public support is crucial in order to help keep the charity’s services running.
Martin Cawley, Beatson Cancer Charity CEO said:
"As a result of the COVID 19 crisis, Beatson Cancer Charity has had to make significant changes to the way we operate. We are delighted to continue to deliver some fun events digitally.’
We can still have a positive impact on patient’s lives and support our NHS colleagues at the Beatson. We continue to fund Radiographers and Clinical Nurse Specialists who are working harder than ever to provide enhanced care and support to vulnerable cancer patients. We are doing all we can to continue to help our colleagues at The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and continue to fund life-saving research."
Beatson Cancer Charity supports people affected by cancer, every step of the way. We make the journey easier by transforming the way cancer care is funded and delivered. We provide services, as well as funding specialists, research and education to invest in a better future for cancer patients and their families.
