This weekend we’re thrilled that the Hospital Broadcast Service (HBS) are holding a 24 hour radio marathon in aid of Beatson Cancer Charity.

The show will be hosted by HBS presenter Jason Chu who is very excited and determined to do the show for his friend Alan. He said:

“At the beginning of the year, my friends and I received heartbreaking news that Alan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. We thought it was only right to work together with Hospital Broadcasting Service and the Beatson Cancer Charity to raise money for two great causes that have been supporting him since his diagnosis.”

There will be lots going on throughout the show - filled with themed programmes, live music, special guests (including our very own Beatson Cancer Charity staff!), karaoke, silly challenges and much more lined up!

The special 24 hour radio broadcast will start at 3pm this coming Saturday, all the way through to 3pm on Sunday!
