"The walkers completed a massive 54 miles consecutively within 24 hours following the West Highland Way from Fort William to Loch Lomond."

On Saturday 30th August, 21 dedicated walkers from Rolls Royce East Kilbride, supported by a team of eight kind-hearted friends and colleagues completed the gruelling Caledonian Challenge.

The walkers completed a massive 54 miles consecutively within 24 hours following the West Highland Way from Fort William to Loch Lomond. Before their walk, we were invited to visit staff at Rolls Royce along with one of our very special patients to tell them just how important and valued their fundraising has been. The team’s current total now sits at a staggering £15,000 and it just keeps going!

Next on the list is their fundraising night for staff, friends and family on Friday, 3rd October - they never stop!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved including Paul O’Neil, Alex McMillan, Allan Gray, John Reid and all of the Rolls Royce East Kilbride workforce and their family and friends on providing the motivation to complete this type of challenge for a very worthwhile cause.
