Santa Dash 2026

Sleigh bells are jinglin’ - the Santa Dash is coming back to town!   

Join Beatson Cancer Charity this year at the Glasgow Santa Dash at Glasgow Green on 6th December 2026. Run, jog, walk or hop on your sleigh - it’s time to do your festive 5k.  

Please note: When registering, you will only select an adult or child ticket. You will not choose a start wave during registration.

Start waves will be allocated when you collect your t-shirt and race number. Strong runners will be encouraged to start in the earlier waves, while participants with young children, buggies, prams, scooters, or dogs will be allocated Wave 4 to help ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

Show your support to patients and families affected by cancer this winter by signing up to this year’s Santa Dash. Your registration includes a free Santa t-shirt to help paint Glasgow's city centre red and yellow. 

General Information

Date: Sunday 6th December 2026

Time: 9.30am to arrive on site

Location: Glasgow Green (start and finish)

Entry: Adults £18, Children £6, Children under 5* go FREE 

Please note: Race numbers and t-shirts must be collected from us prior to event day, and registration will close on Thursday 5th December. Collection details will be provided in your pre-event email. We are unable to provide race numbers & t-shirts to under 5's but they are welcome to dash along in their festive gear.

Collecting your free top:

As we gear up for this year's Santa Dash, let's keep the environment in mind!

If you already have a Santa t-shirt or costume from a previous year, we encourage you to reuse it. You could even get creative and make your own festive outfit. Not only will you be helping to reduce waste, but you'll also be in with a chance of being crowned Best Dressed on the day!

We'll be choosing our favourite festive outfits for the chance to win some fantastic prizes, so we can't wait to see your Jack Frosts, reindeer clans, elves, and other festive friends joining us on the start line.

Once you've signed up, you're welcome to collect your Santa t-shirt and race number from our charity office or city centre location (tbc) on one of our designated collection days:

Sat 21^st November - Fri 4^th December (10am-2pm)

Get ready to take on a festive 5K around the heart of Glasgow, starting and finishing at Glasgow Green.
