Together Along The Way

Beatson Cancer Charity supports those affected by cancer, every step of the way from the hospital wards right to the heart of the communities we serve.

We want to celebrate our work and services and reach out to different communities by showing the diversity of the work of our charity. Our services offered to patients and their families range from, our Wellbeing Centre, Specialist Health and Work Service, Group Programmes, Bereavement Support, Volunteering, Research and much more.

“Together along the way” encompasses our year-long partnership with First Bus, with a gift of a customised and bespoke double-decker bus that allows us to visit different communities across the West of Scotland throughout 2023. This offers the opportunity for outreach work providing information within the community and the opportunity for supporters to access support.

Whatever journey you’re on, we’re with you.

Whether it’s using the Wellbeing services, or getting support to return to work via the SHAWS team, BCC helps normalise living with cancer. You can still go out and you can still do some fundraising events. You can go for walks and do activities as a family. The charity's support helps you do those things, and gives you the confidence to do so.
