Vijay lives in Glasgow and is an Investment Director at a venture capital firm focused on life sciences. He is also a Director of a specialist healthcare and rehabilitation facility caring for people with complex needs. He is passionate about developing new healthcare technologies that will make a transformative difference to people's lives.
He started his career as an investment banker at Schroders before working for Citigroup in London and New York. He then joined GSK as a strategy consultant before moving to the healthcare corporate finance team at Deloitte. Thereafter, he moved abroad and worked for the sovereign wealth funds in Dubai and in Muscat. Most recently, he was based in Mauritius and led a healthcare fund focused on investments across sub-Saharan Africa.
Vijay graduated from Cambridge University in Economics and Natural Sciences. He also has a law degree from the University of London.
