New drop off/collection service for patient on wards launches at The Beatson

24th June 2020

Beatson Cancer Charity is delighted to be able to support the new Give & Go service for The Beatson.

This is a drop off service allowing family and friends to deliver belongings to patients or collect their laundry while they are on our wards whilst visiting is restricted.

Items must be delivered to the hospital drop point in a sealed plastic bag (you can use tape or a twist tie if items are too big for a zipper-lock bag) and marked with the patient’s name, ward details and date of birth. Only one bag per patient please. Please try to ensure that only one person attends the hospital to hand in belongings.

The service accepts personal/comfort items

You’ll be able to drop off essential items to our volunteers who will deliver these to the wards for your loved ones. Please ensure you observe social distancing when using this volunteer service.
