2024 Ambassadog Competition

Does your four legged friend have what it takes to become our next Beatson Ambassadog?

We are delighted to be launching our 'Ambassadog' competition to find our 2024/25 pooch to represent our charity!

Our Ambassadog will help with fundraising activities but ultimately be the face of our flagship Off the Beatson Track event for the following year. The winner of last year’s competition saw the gorgeous Simba being crowned Beatson Ambassadog 2023/24. He has been supporting the charity through this last year in photoshoots and at our events. He's been a paw-fully big help!

Simba the Border Collie, who will be 3-years-old in December, was entered by his owner, Chris Maitland, after his mum was treated at The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. 

Chris said: “Simba is from a rescue charity – Protecting Preloved Border Collies – he came along and seemed to fit the profile. They do a matching service for dogs and owners’ lifestyles and they thought he would be a good fit in Glasgow.  

“Simba is very kind, loving, playful, has a big heart and can usually tell what humans are feeling."

Entries for our Ambassadog competition must be in by 6pm on Friday 20th September and the winner will be announced on Wednesday 27th September.
