Nine year old Callum climbs Ben Lomond in memory of his granddad

Team Beatson - we're delighted to share you this lovely letter which we received from a very inspirational nine year old, Callum Larking.Callum did a sponsored climb up Ben Lomond in memory of his granddad who was treated at ‪#‎thebeatson‬.In doing so, he raised an incredible £305 and hopes it will help more patients being treated there.We'd like to say a big thank you to Callum for taking part in his fundraising challenge and for his generosity and support!So many people have a connection with Beatson and donations like this help us continue the fight against cancer in so many ways - from patient wellbeing to the funding of treatment, care and research at the Beatson.Thanks Callum!"HelloMy name is Callum David Larking. I am 9 years old and I go to Levenvale Primary School. my Granddad, David Larking, died in the Beatson on Monday on Monday June 24th 2013. In his memory I did a sponsored climb up Ben Lomond with my Dad. It was raining and windy but i made it to the top and it was awesome. I raised £305 which I am sending to you.
