family and friends to climb ben cleuch in support of Beatson patient

8th Jun 2015

At the start of May, Valentina Colaluca received the horrible news that she had non-hodgins lymphoma. Since being diagnosed Valentina has been undergoing her treatment at the Beatson and   has only shown determination, bravery and fight in these tough times.

As she battles this fight, her friends and family had rallied together and will be climbing Ben Cleuch in August in her honour and to say thank you for the incredible care and support she has recieved at the Beatson. For a heart-warming touch they will be taking a stone with her initials up with them, taking turns carrying it and will leave the stone at the top. Once Valentina has come through her treatment they will climb up with her to collect the stone, to signify what she has overcome.  So far they have raised over an incredible £2,800 since last week!

Beatson Cancer Charity is so grateful to everyone taking on this challenge and to all those who have donated so far. We will be supporting the team as they build up to The Climb!

You can help the team by donating on their JustGiving page  or keep up to date on their Facebook  or twitter pages.

For Valentina!

Forza Valentina!

Forza The Beatson!
