Bishopbriggs Academy set for festive night with Beatson Cancer Charity

25th Nov 2015

We are absolutely delighted to have Bishopbriggs Academy School Choir be part of the festive entertainment in our Christmas Concert on Saturday 5th December at the Glasgow City Halls.

They are set to star alongside   Barrhead Burgh Brass Band, former X Factor finalist Nicholas McDonald, The Glasgow Rock Choir and Westerton Male Voice Choir for a jam packed night of festive entertainment.

Greig Ratcliff, music teacher at Bishopbriggs Academy, said: “As Beatson Cancer Charity was our chosen charity for last session, it is an honour to part of this special occasion. The charity has touched the lives of many of our pupils through their family and friends so they are looking forward to the opportunity to show their gratitude.

“I can’t explain how excited the pupils are about performing at Glasgow’s iconic City Halls. Some of them have never performed anywhere other than the school stage before, so this will be a truly exceptional experience for them. We will be performing some Christmas classics with a mix of both traditional and contemporary songs, there will be something for everyone so you are more than welcome to join in the sing-along!”
