Last November we were so lucky to have so many people take part in our fantastic fundraising initiative, Bake it for the Beatson, all to help raise vital funds for the Beatson and support people living with cancer. We’d like to say massive congratulations to our top ten bakers and fundraisers Morag Galbraith, Chris Hewitt, Kirsty Bason, Sarah Fuller, June Speirs, Andrew Cameron, Sarah McMullan and Elaine Kelly who raised the most money in November. Their doughy efforts won them a brilliant Masterclass with baking genius and Great British Bake Off finalist, James Morton.Last November we were so lucky to have so many people take part in our fantastic fundraising initiative, Bake it for the Beatson, all to help raise vital funds for the Beatson and support people living with cancer. On Sunday 15th February, the eight lucky bakers along with Beatson Cancer Charity board member and representative Maureen Thompson enjoyed a fantastic day out to Upfront Photography’s Studio93 in the West End. The guys got stuck in right from the start learning and practising some new helpful tips from the baking connoisseur James Morton himself.

We’d like to say huge thank you to Martin and Von for hosting the Masterclass in their studio, as well as taking pictures on the day. Another congratulations to our eight amazing winners and a big thank you to the one and only James Morton. A special thank you must also go out to everyone who took part in November, all your support and vital funds raised will continue to help the thousands of patients who visit the cancer centre each year.
