Kilwinning Academy pupils have caught the fundraising bug!

9th Jul 2014

The Beatson Cancer Charity is so lucky to have fantastic supporters spread far and wide across Scotland. Annie, Carly and Morgan are S3 pupils at Kilwinning Academy who held a bake sale which raised a fantastic £132! Annie’s late grandfather, Davie Shearer, was treated at the Beatson so they have a personal link to the charity and are fully aware of the amazing services provided by the staff at the centre. The girls have huge ambitions to raise money for the charity and are even planning a trip to Arran to climb Goatfell next term with all money raised going directly to the Beatson Cancer Charity. Safe to say, they have definitely caught the fundraising bug and this is only the beginning! We look forward to supporting the girls with their fundraising efforts and building up a long-lasting relationship with Kilwinning Academy. To find out more about how you can get involved and do something incredible to help the Beatson please don’t hesitate to call our fundraising team on 0141 212 0505 or why not drop them an e-mail at fundraising@beatsoncancercharity.org
